ELLEN OPIE, Local History Researcher LOLLY HANSEN SENIOR CENTER, TRACY 375 EAST 9TH STREET, TRACY,CA Take a virtual tour of Tracy from 100 years ago with tour guide Ellen Opie, local history researcher and Tracy Historical Museum volunteer. Using a Sanborn Fire Insurance map drawn up following the fire of 1911 and historic photographs from the museum's collection, Ms. Opie will take us on a photographic tour through the streets of Tracy. She has identified the businesses, proprietors and civic structures drawing on historical photos, newspaper articles and other records, painting a vivid picture of the dramatic changes that took place in Tracy at the time.
